Gary Snead
Son Of A Beach Music

Hi all! As a founder of the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, B2B, I bring you news of my latest musical endeavor. Although we recently disbanded B2B, I have made the decision to continue performing with a new four piece act featuring Guitars, Steel Pan, Percussion and Vocals, called Sandbar! We specialize in bringing a little "Island Ambience With Island Attitude"!22 to any Public or Private event.

Here's a promo video, edited from filming in February 2017, at the "Shiver In The River" fundraising event in Richmond:

Janet Reiner and I also perform as a The Sandbar Duo, featuring the Steel Pan, Guitar, and vocals, which I imagine might be a better fit with Smaller venues or budgets, than our band. The link below is a 3 minute video highlighting Janet and I in fall 2016 at the Pamunkey River Wine Festival.

Finally, I've been a part of the vibrant East Coast music scene for twenty years now, since originating B2B, with three friends in 1996. While still the frontman for the band, I began, in 2006, to branch out as an artist with my solo songwriting projects, culminating in the release of my first single, 'That's A Few Things...', in 2008, followed by my debut album effort, 'The Stories I Can Tell', in 2010. I continue to perform regularly, solo, throughout the Mid Atlantic, at local bistros, grills, national chains, and for private parties, corporate events, and benefits. Below is a video edited from a performance at the Vineyard Vines Charlottesville, Virginia, location.
