We need your support to put more people back to work!
1 out of 10 people are unemployed in our state. These people struggle to pay
rent, put food on the table and keep their families healthy. At Goodwill of
Southern Nevada, we fight daily against the highest unemployment rate in the
nation.
In 2012, we helped 1,800 people get jobs. That's 1,800 people who now can
support themselves and their families, and feel the sense of pride that having a
job brings. But there is still so much work to be done.
How can you help? It's easy. By attending the 2013 Golf for Goodwill Tournament
at Rio Secco Golf Club.
This year's tournament features cash prizes, a Box Raffle, and a silent
auction. Bring a donation of gently used goods and receive an additional
surprise! Tournament participants will also enjoy a box lunch and following the
tournament, an Awards Reception. Nongolfers are encouraged to join in this event by attending our Wine Tasting &
Reception. Wine Reception attendees will also experience the Box Raffle, Silent Auction and
Awards Reception.

Hello! It's time once again for Golf for Goodwill!
This year is the fourth annual tournament and we are excited to show off our new
venue, Rio Secco Golf Club!
And, we are thrilled to announce the addition of a Wine Tasting & Reception for
those non-golfers that want to support Goodwill!
Registration for the Golf for Goodwill Tournament begins at 10:30am, with a
shotgun start and box lunch at noon.
Registration for the Wine Reception begins at 2pm, with a start of 2:30pm.
Attendees of both the tourney and the reception will be able to bid in our
fabulous Silent Auction and participate in our Box Raffle.
After the tourney and reception conclude, attendees of both will come together
for the Awards Reception.
This event benefits Goodwill's job placement and training services.
